Abstract

In the context of rapid global fluctuations, fierce strategic competition, and a globalization process facing numerous challenges, strategic autonomy has emerged as an urgent requirement for Vietnam. Strategic autonomy in the economic sphere represents the capacity to master the nation's destiny, enhance endogenous capacity, and bolster resilience to proactively, deeply, and effectively integrate into the international community. This article analyzes the theoretical foundations of strategic autonomy thinking, assesses current opportunities and challenges, and proposes groups of solutions aimed at building an independent, self-reliant economy coupled with international integration. This serves as the foundation to realize the nation's 100-year strategic goals in the new era of development.
