Policies for developing Halal digital human resources in Indonesia and some policy implications

Abstract

n recent years, the growth of the global Halal economy has generated increasing demand for human resources with a strong understanding of Islamic culture. Indonesia has emerged as one of the leading countries in developing infrastructure, establishing a national certification system, and fostering a Halal innovation ecosystem. This article analyzes Indonesia’s policies for developing Halal digital human resources and, on that basis, proposes several policy implications for Vietnam. The study is part of a research project coded N.25.18 at the University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
