Refuting distorted arguments against the "double-digit" growth target

Abstract

The “double-digit” growth target represents a development orientation grounded in practical foundations, embodying Vietnam's aspirations for rapid and sustainable development. The 14th Party Congress identifies key conditions for realizing this target, including institutional reforms, labor productivity enhancement, science-technology promotion, digital transformation, and leveraging state economy alongside private sector roles. Nevertheless, with destructive intent, hostile and reactionary forces have distorted this economic “double-digit” growth target, labeling it “overly ambitious” and implausible.
