The article analyzes the basic contents of democracy presented by V.I.Lenin in the work “The State and Revolution”, such as: democracy and democratic regimes; bourgeois democratic regimes and proletarian democratic regimes; and the withering away of the democratic regime. This is considered the theoretical basis and spiritual weapon for fighting and refuting allegations that distort the socialist democratic regime in Vietnam today.
