Abstract

Abstract: Vietnam’s agricultural sector is entering a milestone transition period. The context of deep and wide international integration, the booming Fourth Industrial Revolution, and severe challenges from climate change require agriculture to accelerate its transition from fragmented and small-scale production practices into a large-scale commodity-producing agricultural economy characterized by high-tech application and sustainable development.

However, the agricultural development process is encountering numerous barriers, including bottlenecks in current land management policies and institutions. The article analyzes the current situation and institutional breakthroughs in land management in Vietnam to promote agricultural restructuring and sustainable development.
