Research and application of science, technology, and innovation - The key factor for sustainable business development: Experience from Dat Viet Ceramics

Abstract

Dat Viet Ceramics is a pioneering enterprise in Vietnam's ceramics industry in researching and applying advanced science and technology into production, bringing high economic efficiency to the business and protecting the environment. “Green” products of Dat Viet Ceramics are consumed in 34 domestic provinces and cities as well as 56 countries and territories. The article clarifies the role of science and technology in the sustainable development of enterprises, and offers several experiences and solutions. The article is a product of a research project summarizing organizational models for implementing national and local development strategies and policies.
